Universally binding declaration for waste management fee for lamps
The State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management announces that on 5 September 2019 she declared an agreement on the waste management contribution for lamps universally binding for the period from 9 September 2019 to 1 January 2023.
The request was submitted by Stichting LightRec and concerns lamps that are being sold on the Dutch market for the first time. The waste management contribution for lamps is levied for the purpose of continuing the current waste management system for lighting and luminaires.
