Richtlijn van het Europees parlement en de raad van 4 juli 2012 betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (AEEA)
WEEE is de afkorting van ‘Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment’. Dit is in het Nederlands ‘Afgedankte Elektrische en Elektronische Apparatuur’ (AEEA). De WEEE Directive is de Europese richtlijn die de inzameling en recycling van deze afvalstroom reguleert. De Nederlandse implementatie van de WEEE Directive is de Regeling AEEA.
